We are delighted to welcome your children into the First United Methodist Church Garland family! 

We believe church and home should work together to nurture children in Christian growth, and we invite you to become an active participant in helping all of our children become faithful servants of God. 

Our goal is to help each child develop a relationship with God that serves as a firm foundation for life. We strive to achieve this by sharing with them ourselves, our stories and the traditions of our Christian faith. 

We share these gifts with your children not only through Godly Play in Sunday School, but also in Sunday morning worship, where a special Children's Time helps relate the message in terms they can understand. 

Our renowned Children's Music Ministry shares a love for making joyful noise to the Lord thru weekly rehearsals, periodic opportunities to sing in worship, and twice annual children's musicals. 

Face masks optional for all children's activities, but we welcome those more comfortable wearing a mask to continue doing so. (Extra masks available).
