PThat's the theme of our 2025 Stewardship Campaign at First United Methodist Church Garland. We believe generous sharing of our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness is the best way to celebrate our faith in the coming year.


Please join us by praying unceasingly. By attending worship faithfully. By serving where and how God is calling you. By sharing your faith story with others. And by prayerfully considering a financial pledge to our ongoing ministries.

Financial generosity is a spiritual discipline that involves giving back to God in thanks for what he has given to us. 


There are several ways to give back to God financially through First United Methodist Garland:

  • by eCheck from your bank
  • by check* payable to First UMC Garland 


Recurring Gifts

Please prayerfully consider setting up a recurring gift online or via text giving. 


Weekly or monthly recurring gifts represent the easiest way to give. You simply pick the day of the week or month and the amount. 


You no longer need worry about forgetting to write a check. 


Your giving automatically comes from your 'first fruits,' an expression of gratitude for what God has done for you and a blessing on the rest of the harvest. 


And this method of giving generates a more consistent cash flow, enabling the church to plan and operate more efficiently and effectively.
